summer garden salad with mango There are again wide range of indigenous vegetables in the market and I use happy to oblige, even though I often at the moment of buying does not even know what that should be. Wednesdays, weekly market and moved the following in my cart:
- 1 cauliflower
- 2 gardeners cucumber
- 1 / 2 kg green beans (UAH, which are still pretty expensive ...)
- 1 bunch green onions
- 1 kilo of cherry tomatoes (Italy)
- 1 pound asparagus
- 250 g chanterelles (Romania, well ...)
- 1 / 2 kilo nectarines
- 1 bunch tarragon
- 2 smoked trout fillets (from the Upper Palatinate)
- Tyrolean bacon and various cheese Tyrolean specialties as
- 2 chicken breast fillets
The asparagus was cooked in foil . The mushrooms were a part of the cherry tomatoes for more chicken breast fillets, which were simply fried in a pan.
And now today my salad creation:

cauliflower into florets, and dismantle in salt water not to boil, let cool slightly. The beans in about 4 cm long pieces and cook them in salt water.
chop 2 shallots, peeled 1 gardener cucumber, halve lengthwise first, then into quarters, remove seeds and cut into small pieces. Cherry tomatoes Half. give everything together in a large salad bowl, cut nor the green of a spring onion into rings and sprinkle over it.
a white balsamic vinaigrette, mustard, salt, pepper, sugar and olive oil aufmixen. Pour over the salad and mix well.

tortilla sandwiches I do not know how the court really meant. I had found it at the hairdresser with longer waiting time in an unfamiliar magazine and on the back a receipt is recorded, which I found in my handbag. It does not matter but actually, as it is called, the court now. We tasted at least very good and was the perfect, quick meal prepared in front of our concert .
Ingredients for 3 persons:
6 tortillas or wraps (bought ready)
1 yellow Mango (*)
200g Brie
3 spring onions
1 red pepper (the original recipe: Chili)
Preparation:
The Tortillas are each on one side in a grill pan (without fat), browned a bit until they get this "grill stripes. The mango is cut into thin slices as the Brie. The spring onion into thin rings and with the pepperoni same way. I've taken out the seeds, if you like it sharper, it can be naturally there.
For every 3 of the tortillas (grilled strip down) will now turn to cheese, mango, onions and peppers, and again a little cheese. Cover with the remaining 3 patties (grilled strips to the top) and at about 200 ° C in preheated oven until the cheese melts. This takes about 50-10 minutes. Place on plate and cut into quarters. Starting on the table!
* The yellow mangoes was recently launched at Aldi Süd. They are not cheap, a piece will cost nearly 3 €, but they are in contrast to usually readily available does not guarantee fibrous and taste simply incomparable. I've googled a bit, obviously this fruit comes from Thailand. Who likes mangoes, which I can only recommend that once kept watch out for.
